Melanie Lepper holds a Bachelors of Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.  After receiving her BM, she studied massage and became certified in California in 1993 in order to help her fellow musicians recover from injuries.  In 1995 she moved to Seattle where she continued to improve her skills in helping people heal with other forms of bodywork, such as Neuromuscular Therapy and Trager®.  As she continued to work with people she realized, that how people move throughout their daily lives, has a relationship to their comfort level, therefore she became interested in the Feldenkrais Method of Somatic Education®.

In 2001 she became a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner and has incorporated her understanding of how people move into her massage sessions and her knowledge as a massage therapist into her Feldenkrais sessions. Recently she has also she has begun to apply her knowledge to helping animals. In her spare time you can find Melanie enjoying Bluegrass with her husband or taking long walks with her dog Sassie.
